Punkbuster problems (I have vista)

I am also having another problem, I had to reinstall this today. So I have version 0.75, yet I cannot play in many 0.75 servers, like battlearena (used to be my favorite)

Can anybody help?

if u look on ur screen shot you can see it, but dont use it to enter the game<- using the community tab is a common reason people get this error.

If I were you I'd try, manually updating PB, if that doesnt work, delete what's in ur BF2 cache at (default) \Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache, if that doesnt work, installing the latest drivers for your graphics card, if that doesnt work, reinstall the game and mod.

I started getting this error randomly, reinstall fixed it, but the solutions I've put for you have worked according to others.

I tried reinstalling bf2 and pr, now I am having different problems, the game simply crashes when loading certain maps, specifically quai river, and that new map, the Chinese one with the lake.

I am going to download the windows service pack, see if that does anything. They include some fixes in there.

I also downloaded that punk buster update.

Ok, I have tried everything. It still doesn't work. I guess I will be back when the next patch/version is out to see if it works.
