Troubleshooting guide: Unable to start PR

bf2.exe does not exist. Please check your working directory!: The system cannot find the file specified. i hvae the same problem my pc is Intel Pentium d cou 3.00 Ghz 2GB ram Geforce 8500 GT i do same thing in first post but nothing i all ready uninstall PR from my pc once

Instead, I listened to a guy in game a few days ago, and he told me about the 'custom game' screen under the 'community' tab in the BF2 start screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and my start in line is perfect

but my target line is even worse it says:"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +modPath mods/pr +menu 1 +fullscreen 1

and when i try to change it to what it says on the first page it comes up with an error box saying: The name'"C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe +parameters' specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

Well, if what you've posted above is exactly what you're trying to put there then yes.

But there's no point changing the Target with your installation as everything seems to be OK.

Why are you even changing it? What kind of error made you do it?

Yes, when you specified the C:\*SOMETHING*\Battlefield 2\ for the Start In, what exactly do you put in place of *SOMETHING*? I've tried making my own folders and putting the folder names in place of *SOMETHING* but yet it says my folders do not exist even though I've made them.
