Possible.
Vista can act weirdly with BF2 for some people. Did you try to set the video.con file to read only?

No i got XP, and yes I have changed but I havent tested yet, I'm revising, yes "Revising" for my exams

I think the culprit is most likely to be them bloody nvidia drivers, they always seem to cause problems...

:-/ But I am using ATI Catalyst drivers, It could be a fluke with both of our systems.. but who knows

whats your other system specs maybe we can find out, if we have something the same (i.e. X-fi) that might be whats causing the problem

I say update the drivers. What card are you using? I have a 7600GT and I run it on almost the most recent drivers on vista. Try maybe the latest three driver versions, if one or two give you a problem? The very latest gave me no aa, so I reverted one version back. Sounds like drivers could fix your problem to me.

Using a 7900GS, yeh that sounds about right, I think about 2months ago I tried the latest drivers only to find I did have AA problem only really on PR. I'll give the one you suggested a try.

nvidia drivers

Is it the 94.24 you have?
