Re: FIX: Warning screen after launching with pr.exe
Thanks a bundle Deadfast, your fix got the mod working for me. Without it I would have been stuffed. Ten out of ten for you mate, been playing it for the last couple of hours and I would have been missing something truly special otherwise.

Re: FIX: Warning screen after launching with pr.exe
Great news for the Vista users here.
As you may already know, this fix didn't work on some Vista installations. Today I have finally discovered a fix (thanks to R.J.Travis for testing it for me). Don't expect a miracle though. If it didn't work before, it won't work now either. Or at least not unless you do a few changes in the code. Don't worry though, everything is explained in the readme, so read it! If you had no problems with the previous versions, then there is no need to download this one. |

Re: FIX: Warning screen after launching with pr.exe
OK, it seems that all the time since the last version the download was kinda corrupted.
I have packed wrong files (not containing the REM things...) I'm sorry for any inconveniences, feel free to download the latest version (0.25), where this stupidity was fixed Ah, and shouts out to sfsniper for discovering this for me! |

Re: FIX: Warning screen after launching with pr.exe
I still cannot get this to work.
Running the run first file results in an error ... "pathway cannot be found" I've tried removing the REM and putting in the correct pathnames, but when I go to save it says that it cannot create the path, and to make sure the filename and paths are correct, which they seemingly are. Help. OS: Windows Vista Premium, 64bit. |

Did you run the scripts as admin (right-click)?
*whistles* God, I hate Vista... |

Re: FIX: Warning screen after launching with pr.exe
Oh, hold on, it seems I completely misunderstood you.
You mean that you can't save the edited thing? How are you saving it? The simplest way is to just shut down the notepad (or whatever you're editing it with) and when it asks you if you want to save the changes click yes. |
