Plz Help!!

yesterday my little brother hit alt-F4 like really fast and it closed down Pr and i was like ok wutever and i tried to start it back up and it said that warning hit alt-F4 to reset settings (it has never done that) and then when i finally got to rejoin a server it took FOREVER to join the server and then when it finally joined it lagged like no other (my computer has never done that) what can i do to fix it?

have you restarted your PC? i know it sounds stupid but i have family that dont turn there PC's off and causes the RAM in the graphics card to bog up with shader settings and the like. if you have then i recomend trying to play a server on BF2 to see if the problem exists there, if BF2 runs as normal then it probably is a PR problem (may have been re-writing a paging file there for a code mismatch or similar) if not however and the problem persists on BF2 you may need to un-install and re-install to see if its the doftware or not.
