Low FPS near over-growth.

On maps such as Qwai, Fools and Qinling, I lag when near such overgrowth, grass, some bushes, usually anything sticking out of the ground. I have a pretty good PC so I am looking for some answers.

Intel Core Duo E6750 ~2.66
2GB RAM 667MHZ CORAAIR
ATI Radeon X1950GT 512MB

Thats pretty much the hardware PR runs off (as well as my motherboard). Will I have to lower graphics...?

Definitely lower your graphics, the X1950GT is what would be holding you back there.

the x 1950 gt is not the problem
i have a x 1950 pro and i have no problem with lag
in my sec rig i have a x 1650 pro and there is no lag also

Yes, but are you playing with all effects turned up? The X1950 is only marginally better than the 7600GT, I have played PR on a 7600GT with all settings up and the framerate did not hold up well.

i don't relay know what to tell you but i have not seen lag since i've had this card

You havn't seen lag because your probably gaming at 800x600 with settings on meduim. X1950 don't hold up well playing at 1280x1000+ and high settings in PR. Stuff like grass etc kills older cards.

I lowered everything to Medium and it still lags near over-growth, I have a feeling that Anti-Aliasing is the problem, I may try that. I can't spend any money on a new video card so yah.
