I use the 7300 go on my laptop, i havent encountered this problem. Latest drivers perhaps?

bf2 minimum requirements are 512MB RAM - that works for u, but for pr you should have 2GB RAM

you could try setting your video settings on all low and see if it still happens in vanilla (i wonder how u can run pr )

as for gfx cards, i heard read with 6800gt run pr o.O
but drivers update is always a good idea (not just for the gfx card)

Got a PROBLEM? Check this: Project Reality Detailed Installation Guide

Texture problems are normally from the card becoming too hot or driver problems.

Ok, how do i cool down the card?

Also, with my old gfx cards, it worked fine,

It does this on cod4 and ArmA

If you installed a card into a pre-existing build, then follow this basic guide to clear and reset everything.

1) delete the entire BF2 folder from Start/MyDocuments
2) remove video drivers
3) use driver cleaner pro to remove all traces of drivers
4) install latest video drivers
5) install altest directx
6) run game and reset up graphics/audio/controls options.

remember to reset your machine when asked and use a registry cleaner after reinstalling everything.
