RAM escalation
With the Project's increasing elcalation in statics, dynamics and overall detail, will bring forth the requirement for more powerfull computers.
if it continues indefenitly, every PR user will require a hard core machine to run the game. At full detail. [For instance the problem where the grass spawns 30 meters ahead of the player in low graphics settings will continue to be an issue and will inevidably be delt with,(and its not realistic to get rid of grass, so i imagine a way of creating grass for longer distances will come into play in the future)] vote at your conveniance. |

i voted "Keep the RAM requirement around what it currenly is" just because there are people with lower pc specs that cant handle it. But i wouldn't mind if they increase the need for it.

RAM is so crazy cheap right now for DDR2, you can get 2 gigs for $30 and 4 gigs for $80. I know some still use old motherboards with DDR1 and such, but it is very unrealistic for the grass to dissapear, and makes actually trying to use cover a complete waste.
This is supposed to be more realistic, tactical. Mow some neighbors yards or something kiddies. $30 is cheap. |
