Is Teamspeak what most use ? How do I know what server I will play in ?

So I installed Teamspeak, I ga=ve a genral ideal how it works, put in the server # your going to play in. Then start the mod/game and play in the server that team speak is connected to.

But how do I know what server I will be playing in ? Even if I see the server in the list what if it's full, so then I have to log out of the game go back to desktop enter another server # hopfully when I get back in the game the server isn't full ?

Is there a better way to do this ?

I really dont understand what you are trying to say...

Most servers (atleast the ones that have a private TS) have their server IP and PW in the welcome message. So just minimize and add that server to the connect server list.

the # ur refering to is called the IP-Address or short IP

so what you do is
1. join the battlefield/pr server
2. use the key combo "Alt + Tab" to switch to windows
3. you start teamspeak and connect to the TS server mentioned in the welcome message of the server (the server's ip may vary from the TSē's ip)
4. reopen the window named "Battlefield 2" to get back into the game

so basically when you want to change anything in teamspeak you have to briefly minimize BF2 to get the frontend of TSē

btw: in PR "voip" or "voice" is used very frequently as well, teamspeak generally is only for team-wide coordination - if you want to talk to your Squad solely just use the BF2 voip functionality

edit: since there is only a few servers on pr it might come in handy to add some servers to your teamspeak's server list, found under "Connection" -> "Connect" -> "Local Addressbook"

yeah for PR u dont really need teamspeak unless ur in a clan or scrim team. like i always play on tacticalgamer and no one really talks in their teamspeak server so i dont use it. use in-game voip to talk to ur teammates.
