Exclamation CTD after loading the map [Vista]

I've searched for this problem but I couldn't find any solutions...

I sometimes get a crash to desktop after loading a map (expecially 'Al Basrah', some other). I'm running PR on Admin-Mode + Windows XP (Service Pack 2) Compatibility-Mode so what's the problem?

It's really annoying!

My specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+
Corsair, 2 Gigabytes of RAM
GeForce 8800GTS 520MB
Vista Ultimate Edition - 32Bit

Thanks!

Edit:
Just got a CTD during a round! It was Gulf of Oman, my Ping was okay (90), everything okay. WTF is going on?

BTW: The both Vista-Patch links for the 32Bit and the 64Bit version in this thread don't work! The manual request (with that link below) results nothing... Can anyone give me please a working link to that Vista-Patch? (Vista 32-Bit)

Exclamation

Okay, here we go. After an hour of testing:

I've played 3 different maps (Ping: 60) and I didn't get a CTD but the problem is something else: It's lagging and stuttering as hell on most of all maps. But it's impossible... I usually got something around 100 FPS on high settings / AAx8 / resolution of 1248x1024 but sometimes I get those really annoying 'lag periods'... the sound is looping, everything is stuttering. Really bad! Unplayable... I tried to play with a lower resolution 1024x768, some settings on medium and AA totally turned off but there is no improvement! So it can't be my system! It has something to do with Vista... finally I've already played all those maps on my old computer (much worse than this one, GF6600GT and no DualCore) without any problems! I had just a little bit lag on those new big maps like 'Fools Road' but really only a little...

So whats the problem? I have no applications running in the background, no anti-virus, nothing. I'm also running my PR with Administrator-Mode and Compability-Mode Windows XP SP2 on.

Anyone else got Vista and has NO problems? What did you do? Which settings? Which changes? Please tell me!

It's really a mess to play PR with lag periods like that...

I can play 3 maps or 3 intensive ones before I have to close BF2 and reconnect to avoid crashes. Vista 64.

Yeah. After installing that Vista-Patch the amount of crashes decreased. But I still get some CTDs, especially on bigger maps.

Anyway that's not the real problem. I hate this stupid lag on some maps and I've really tried many things to avoid this. Installed a couple of different "Vista-Patches" from Windows, updated my drivers, tried out different graphic settings but there's just no improvement.

Also read a lot of help-threads for vista in connection with BF2/PR... nothing helped

If anybody thinks it could be a hardware issue - Nope! My cooling is totally okay, CPU/graphic card/etc.. isn't overheated. There's also no dust inside the coolers. Everything checked, it's okay.

Don't know what to do next

Yep I run Vista 32bit, didn't know about the Vistas Patch, but doesn't sound like it help anyways. I have same probs as everybody, lag is hit and miss though. I just brows for a server that gives me low ping and suck it up, I do need to upgrade my RAM though. But no CTD thank God.
