Truth is, even when I am playing around on ultra, (just for screenshots, can't actually play at that) my q6600 isn't even running but at like 75%. Crysis is not a CPU intensive game, it is more GPU intensive.
I also have 4 gigs of RAM, and and even it is not coming close to getting fully used, so the only thing limiting me is my 8800GTS 640mb.
Point is, you should save your money and get the cheaper quad CPU, and spend the money on that new 8800GTX mobile SLI edition.
Even better would be if you can wait till march or april and get the new Intel quads that are about to be released, as they are looking much better.
yea thats what im getting, im waiting until the end of February to get the dual 8800 gtx's. i think ill just stick with the quad core cpu for this one.

my friend !

i bought crysis and i fell in love with it !

what u need for it is basicly rams , as for the rams u need over 3 and they must be over 680mhz for better performance as for the cpu !
its
ur concerned about this , well both the dual core and core 2 quad can be overcloacked with no side effects as for the extreme well its already made for the max my friend but im sure u can still overclock it ! the exreme cpu has a feature thats actuely amazing ! the new games have some feautres that will not be able to be seen with other cpu's ! the extreme and extreme quad support this ! which is amazing ! but for the core 2 extreme u need more rams to make them equal in performance ! and of course for the VGA well depends on the notebook ur buying . and just an F.Y.I Crysis dosnt support SLI for graphics so thats a bad thing

as for a quick advice , notebooks tend to less ur performance abit so u gotta look out for that one

hope it works out pretty gd , and kill the shit out of those aliens
i finished the game and its awesome , the ending is abit suprising and gd for the future , so finish it and check it out

in-game nick : ((Fatal))((M))
xfire : br91
