So I just got my new PC(Yay!).I went to install BF2 but got an error:

I'm using Windows Vista 32 bit Home Premium.

infact it looks like the modjive download issue - no client.zip file

Yeah.First off you start by downloading the correct files. Then you use the installation guide at the top of this forum to install it correctly. Then,if you've still got problems, you use the search button and the word "Vista".Then,if you've still got problems, you can start your own thread asking for help rather than just tacking your post on to another thread.

All fairly basic stuff really.

@ Leky.

Your installation path looks very weird.Installing to the default location seems to help.

Yours would look better like this

(C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Levels)

Brother Belcher: "I've never ridden in a cart pulled by cows before."
Captain Keene: "Bullocks, Mr Belcher!"
Brother Belcher: "No, I haven't, honestly."

Right click on icon, make sure "run as administrator" and "run in windows xp compatibility mode" are selected. Then update/reinstall PB.
