3g modem lol
I'm using the vodaphone 3g 7.2mps modem
If you know what i mean you are probably thinking "why they heck would any1 try and play with that!!!!?????" answer is that my university accomodation was meant to be demolished last year, but they had too many students this year- resulting in they dismantled various utilities and won't put them back. Anyway, I get a surprisingly good ping (100-200 with jumps too 30000 if signal is bad But! after a few minutes PB kicks me because my client isn't responding. I was wondering if any1 had tried with a 3g modem and got the same result? I've run all the pertinent PB checks already. |

i remember there was a thread concerning PB kicks - not sure what the solution was but PB people said something like: bf2 is made for a certain bandwidth - trying to blame it on the BF2 (which runs fine) - ill see if i can add the link
edit: turns out i didn't find it but i stumbled over a different one where the solution seems to be the following: the problem was "losing key packets" |
