Vista and the dreaded lighting

I read all the vista post and they are all old so I was wondering if anyone found a way to get PR to work on medium lighting if i put medium lighting on oh boy dose it lag cant even spawn in (:

So now i run everything on High but lighting and i cant tell friend from foe everyone is dark black at long range and i cant help put shoot civis lol oh god why did i never put vista on my new pc ):

oh ya it was 250 $ cheaper then XP lol

When you say lag are you referring to the bug where you appear to get less that one frame per second after joining a game?
