CTD after updates
I havent played PR in a while and is saw the update so i downloaded both core and maps. Installed core then levels. Now for some reason both PR and BF Crash to desktop. The only think i have changed is my monitor. I went from a 19inch to a 22 widescreen. Could that be causing a problem for loading ?

probably...
go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR NAME\My Documents\Battlefield 2 and delete the Profiles folder. this will reset all your settings to default, so you'll be losing all your custom key binds (if u have any) and ur other settings. |

sounds like you didn't uninstall the previous version as suggested in the manual - maybe just reinstall pr?!

If you just upgraded your monitor it may not support your video settings, which are stored in the profiles folder. As conscript said, delete this and it'll reset to default.
