Packet Flow

Every time I try to play, I can go on for a minute, then it closes down and a message pops up says Punkbuster closes me down saying "No Packet Flow". What does that mean? I have been working on it for a day, it is driving me crazy

maybe you are running a firewall that blocks punkbusters traffic?
if you weren't connected to a server i would say your not connected at all xD

Well I turned off my firewall, and so then how do you connect to a server the right way? (I know, I am pathetic!)

if you have turned off the firewall, went into BF2-PR and chose a non-red server from the list - connected and then got kicked again by punkbuster it does not seem to be your firewall

as soon as you can play on the server you are connected

Quite a bit of PB's traffic is over UDP. UDP is a stateless protocal so neither end cares about the packet once it leaves the computer and neither end knows when the other end is sending one. If you have an over loaded router between you and the server chances are its droping UDP packets. Probably all of them.

do you have alot of traffic going through the computer, are your room mates constantly watching youtube or other video streams or such?

also check if you can open this page: PunkBuster Online Countermeasures
if not - you got a serious DNS problem - maybe ISP related

btw: did you already try to manually update PB? with the pbweb.exe?
