Technical Problem

After I installed PR I have encountered a major problem. After ten or so minutes after joining a server my computer just freezes and I have to restart.

Here are my specs:

AMD X2 Athlon +5600
8800GTS 320MB
2 GB 800MHz RAM

it could be a common problem with BF2/PR. do u get sound looping?

AFAIK, the solution to that is setting your sound settings to medium instead of high.

PS thats just one possible solution. BF2 itself has many problems.

Geforce 6800GT
Pentium 4 3.0GHz
2 GB DDR RAM
SB Live! on Audigy2 Drivers

No there is no sound looping. What happens is that I sometimes here a split second of what sounds like static and the it freezes and I have to restart my computer.

PS. Forgot to mention that this almost always happens when a I group up with people. I'll try to turn down the settings and see if that helps.
