Still having LAN problems

Hi,

I did post a tread before, and I did got a reply. But that didn't solve the problem. So again: I'm having LAN problems on the PR mod. But I dont have these problems on the original BF2 and BF2 SF. But first the problem: When I create I LAN, and I set al the settings ect. Every thing is going well untill I click on start server. Than BF falls out and I'm back on my desktop in about 5 sec.

Same thing happends when I want to join a LAN by hamachi. But when I join a LAN using Hamachi, it falls out when I click on Join Game.

It's kind of anoying, cause I would like to practice my flight skills in an empty server, so a LAN was the best choice. But since I cant create a LAN a cant practice, and I think that you do need to practice befor you go out flying in PR. So I hope that someone can help me with this problem.

BTW, my pc runs on Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6000) ,Intel Pentium D (2 prosessors~3,2Ghz), 2GB memory, Nvidia Geforce 7600GS 512MB Grafixcard and a 250 GB hard disk.

this should allow you to practice as much as you want.. with no restrictions and all the toys available in the mod.. plus a few fun extras.

i remember another threat Vista related where ppl would CDT when clicking Join Game - might add the link later, if i find it

till then: have you tried joining a regular online server (could even try an empty one) [you only refered to BF2V and SF working]

also: have you installed both Core AND Levels?

Yea I do have both off the packs installed. But you cant set the map in a empty server and/or restart it so you got all vercheles back...
I hope that your link is gonna help me out if you can find it.

how about this one?

also i remember ppl writing that you need to run the game as administrator on vista (can anybody confirm this?)
