you need t ohave 0957 for net playing and BF2 updated to 1.51 and you'll have ur thermals

You asked "How to use these boxes with weapons?"
Just stand/lay down close to it and you will get ammo after 20-30 sec..
Depending on the # of people in game/in your squad you can request limited kits from them. Usually you will find a few pickup kits next to them( like the handy RPG kit) come back for ammo when you need it .

Are you referring to Battlefield 2 Booster Pack Enabler v1.51 ?
Google it.
