Win 7 Ultra High Textures

Hey everyone not sure if this was posted already. if it was sorry I did not see it under search.

First you must go into your My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\video.con file.
Use NotePad to open the file.

Once opened, It should read the settings that you are currently running in that profile, It will be numbered 1, 2 or 3 (Low/Medium/High).

To Change it to ULTRA HIGHT settings, Change to the following settings:

Code:

VideoSettings.setTerrainQuality 4
VideoSettings.setGeometryQuality 4
VideoSettings.setLightingQuality 4
VideoSettings.setDynamicLightingQuality 4
VideoSettings.setDynamicShadowsQuality 4
VideoSettings.setEffectsQuality 4
VideoSettings.setTextureQuality 4
VideoSettings.setTextureFilteringQuality 4
VideoSettings.setResolution 2560x1600@75Hz <-- use your own resolution
VideoSettings.setAntialiasing 8Samples
VideoSettings.setViewDistanceScale 1
VideoSettings.setVideoOptionScheme 3

Don't forget to make Backup and make the file "Read Only"

Didn't they remove that a long time ago, as in.. it doesn't have any effect?

Yeah, this is old news. It no longer works. They removed it ages ago so it no longer changes anything.

If you wanna improve graphics. Try the Control Panel for your Graphics Card.

Was removed in 1.3 patch i believe.

Yeah i post it years ago, but it works for me... game looks a bit better. I got my GPU maxed out and its sad that PR don´t look good maxed out.
