pr has worked fine for me on win7 and vista ,runing as administrator till 0.9 all the old maps run fine but the new ones will crash if i run shadows on max and lighting I have reinstalled 2 times and changed op systems still get out of memory .used the windows vista fix for memory errors still get the same out of memory msg or dx has stoped working the resion why i posted this thread was to bring some attention to this and to help someone with the same problem not reinstall like most the msgs say and try to lower the shadows and lighting first and that might fix the prob try to lower settings till no drop

Same here. I've got everything running max and I also use Win 7 x64. Move this to the support and maybe some of us might be able to help you with it.

here in the support section its a known issue - and there is no alternative fix afaik, neither does it seem to be a cause of a user specific fault
if this came from bugs and there is no already a thread regarding this issue i would suggest putting it back there |

I assume you mean the "memory.dll all aloc attempts failed for size xxxxxxxxxx"
If so I have the same problem, seeing 64-bit users dont have this problem, couu tell me what win vista/7 version you use. Joery. |
