XP Unable to Log In

So, I've been playing this for a while, it's quite entertaining when it's not deciding to randomly crash when I try to disconnect from a server, but that's beside the point.

Yesterday, I was in the middle of a map when the game crashed. Oh well, it happens. I restart the game and when I get to the profile login screen, my username isn't there. Instead there are two 'Offline' profiles. Thinking it's a bug, I choose the top one. It crashes the game. I try it again, this time choosing the actual 'Offline' profile. It crashes again. I restart my computer and try it again. No luck. My profile is still unseen, both Offlines are still there, and to add insult to injury it has, for some reason, set my monitor resolution to default. I give it time, thinking it may be a problem with the master server. No dice, it's still screwing up.

I'm going to come right out and say it. I love this mod. It's great fun, it has a great community, and awesome gameplay, but it has to be one of the most unstable things ever installed on my computer...

I'm going to reinstall. Hopefully that will solve the problem.

there was probably no need to reinstalll as i think your settings files got corrupted when you crashed

delete "My Documents\Battlefield 2" - this will reset everything to default and you will have to retrieve your account but at least it will work (make a backup if your unsure)
