Default PR dont like RAM - BSOD or CTD

Seems PR eats RAM and gives lots of errors.

Here my test:

Win32, XfiGamer,GTX275, latest drivers, Q6600 with 4 Gig Ram.

The known memory Error after one/two maps. BCdedit increaseuserva2600 solved this, but gives me more CTD without this error.

Now format C: and set up Win64 with 6 GB, cause BF2 1.5 can handle more then 2GB now and like in other games (mostly MMPORGS with mem.leaks like AOC, Fallen earth..) dont crash so often with lots of RAM.

AOC runs 4 hours. System is primestable (RAM - Tested).

Started Pr..Played one map. works. loaded next map, then BSOD omg...

Error: Page-Fault-In-Nonpaged-Area, wich normally caused by broken RAM or NTFS.

Seems now PR use the new RAM and eats it ... but dont use it.

..besides this i got the "normal" CTD in random situation playing..

Any help?

I have this too. I think it is a driver issue for the XFI card that started with VISTA for me and still exists in W7 64 for me as well.

Try turning your sound quality from XFI down to Hardware and see if that happens (if you have XFI that is)

Realism and fun aren't mutually exclusive.
