6GB virtual memory should suffice, however looking at the ram when the game crashed will only show you howmuch your system is using - all ram used by the game is freed the instant it got terminated
to see your ram usage when running bf2/pr you should alt-tab when ingame and habe a look

i have suggested alot more than you replied to - did you try all that other stuff already? admin, compat, gfx driver update?
you didn't post your specs either yet
i have no more ideas at this level of information

Ah, everything seems to be working fine now.

I uninstalled PR once again, and rebooted my PC. Then I installed and played it, and up to now everything now works fine.
