Default ALT + TAB = Game crash

My game keeps crashing if I get an Xfire/msn popup, but ofcourse I shut theese programs down by now, but still windows update, antivirus, firewall can all crash me. And when playing on servers using mumble/teamspeak, one have to change channels according to what you do, and thats problematic if you cant alt+tab to desktop without crashing.

Is there any info on what it could be related to, so that I dont have to start experimenting with all kinds of settings. - Couldn't find anything with the search tool..
