what kind of ventaliation do you have in your computer?
Also Vaccume out your powersupply, if its dusty that can cause some problems |

Could be overheating, have you updated you video and sound drivers, not forgetting directx?

Apparently, lead is not good for you if ingested, at any velocity. And whilst I'm here, you're not a PC and Windows 7 wasn't your idea, live with it!!! |

If it was a driver/kernel error that shut the machine down you would usually see a BSOD (or similar) , even if only for a split second.
Computer just switching off for no reason, is usually down to a heat problem. Could be your fan on the CPU is clogged ... or even become unseated. Run a diagnostics program on your motherboard though before trying DIY fixes though, and see what the temperatures monitor. |
