Default Slight texture glitchyness & geometry question

I was just wondering if anyone has had certain texture faces look a bit glitchy, like theres 2 faces in the same place and you get a distorted / flashy look. Is there a way to fix this?

Also, geometry at a distance changes shape a little too much this time (ie goes too simple at a distance so an infantry on a ridge looks like their floating), I assume this is a BF2 issue but either way I'm just wondering if theres something I can tweak to lessen that effect.

I run PR with all settings on high, AA 8x, my system is nvidia 9800gt, winXP sp3 32bit.

Thanks!

I get the same thing I believe it is a bf2 thing so that you wouldn't have to render hills and mountains and such when they are on the other side of the map so Its just kinda something we have to deal with

Thanks for the replys. I have noticed the texture glitching in a couple of maps, and yeah I think it's probably just a glitchy prefab/plane.

All maps run fine for me at a smooth fps, but there is one map I've played that seems a little bit slow as it's got a lot of buildings in it, must be the constraints of the engine. Nothing serious.
