That must be the problem them, Using bf2 on steam I guess.
Only option now is to Buy a retail copy. less than £10 |

well i asked AeroChen if he found a solution already.. perhaps it works by replacing the bf2.exe steam installed.. i ll ask him which one he is using and if its realy working properly

Alright Guys. I got solution!!!!! I'm also using win7 and everything works now. Just replace bf2.exe in your steamapp/common folder with the exe I attached. Good luck on that
PS. Remember, if u ever check the intergrity of game cache file, steam will automatically overite ur solution bf2.exe with original steam nogood one. So, keep a copy of bf2.exe (the one I gave u) just in case. |

Is the bf2.exe in your link from the dvd/cd or EA online version? I'm gonna guess the online one as it doesn't check for a disk in drive. Remember as long as you have a valid online account with EA you can download the online version anytime. |
