Whenever i try to run Project Reality it takes up twice the amount of Crysis on high, Yes thats Crysis on High. Starting screen is fine but when i get into a game its like my computer has just eat about 10098 Big Macs and about to die. Why does Project Reality give my computer such a hard time, he does nothing wrong to the program.
I've updated my Graphics card so its not that. Any ideas? |

When asking for help, please remember to post your: O/S, systems specks, network setup And a brief history before and after problem started. Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and what you have already tried. The more info you can give us the more likely someone can help you quickly. (FYI: you can list your system specks on your PR profile for this web site. That way you don't have to list them each time you have a question.) In game textures set to 'HIGH'? Set the textures to medium. I'm not sure why this makes a difference with high-end cards that can run games like Crysis on high quality settings with no problem at the same res, but for some reason it can matter in Project Reality. Good luck |

I asked you to post your
O/S and some other basic info need to help you. I was looking for something like this: Operating System: Windows Vista 64 Processor: AMD 64 4800X2 Memory: 2 gigs DDR 400 Video Card: AMD x1950XTX crossfire Sound Card: onboard 7.1 Hard Drive(system): C=75gig ide This helps us help you by hopefully stopping or reducing the suggestions that don't apply to your computer 'setup'. The fact your running Vista is in it self not very informative. Kind of like calling an auto mechanic complaining your Ford isn't running well. Then when he asks what year, model ,etc. you have, instead of answering his questions, you complain he isn't listening by saying "If you were listening I already told you I have a FORD. " FYI: My post that reads: "In game textures set to 'HIGH'? Set the textures to medium. I'm not sure why this makes a difference with high-end cards that can run games like Crysis on high quality settings with no problem at the same res, but for some reason it can matter in Project Reality." Many Vista uses have reported success with this fix/work around. Seems like you would rather argue than answer a few basic questions needed to help you. Since you have provided very little of the information need to help you and I have no interest in arguing with you or posting wild guesses that may or may not help you ( other than the one already provided) , let me humbly suggest you read the red stickys at the top of this help forum, if you haven't already done so. 80 to 90% of the most common PR questions are answered there. They may well be the fastest way for you to find the answers you seek. Good luck |
