1: What operating system are you using, and is it fully updated?

Win XP Professional.

2: What is the installation type of Battlefield 2? E.g. Battlefield 2 Deluxe edition, Original Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2 Complete edition, digital download, etc.

Complete Edition Digitally Downloaded.

3: Graphics card model and driver version, motherboard model and chipset, amount and type of RAM, CPU, screen size and resolution.

ATI Radeon HD4850 with Catalyst version 9.6 (I believe I must update this one)
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 4200+ 2.21 GHz
2 GB RAM


4: Do you have anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering set to "application controlled" in your graphics control panel? If you do not, please turn that on and retest.

I do.

5: If you can alt-tab, do you have to go to the main menu before you alt-tab, or press alt-escape, etc?

I can't Alt+Tab

6: Did you have the booster packs installed before you installed 1.5?

No, I didn't have them installed (I think), but I had the Complete Edition.

7: What resolution is your desktop running at, and what resolution is Battlefield 2 running at?

1600x1200

8: What soundcard/codec do you have? What driver version is it using?

Realtek AC'97?

1.Win XP Home Edition, yes

2. Complete Edition, boxed

3. Nvidia 8800 GTS
Intel E6850 (2 x 3 Ghz)
Some kinda ASUS motherboard
2 x 1024 GB DDR2 RAM
19 " widescreen
1440 x 900

4. Tried both.

5. Keep getting a black screen.

6. Didn't install them though I had the Complete Edition (like the OP)

7. 1440 x 900

8. Sound Blaster Audigy, newest driver

Windows XP Home Edition, and yes.

Original Battlefield 2 with the expansion packs on digital download via EA downloader

3: Graphics card model and driver version, motherboard model and chipset, amount and type of RAM, CPU, screen size and resolution.

XFX 8800GT, newest drivers. Asus P5Q pro, LGA-775. 3X1GB Crucial Ballisitx PC2-6400. Intel Q-9550. 22" 1680X150

Yes

Cannot alt tab

Yes

1680X1050

Inbuilt Realtec AC-97, not sure about that.

Original.

Yes.

When AA is on (2x, 4x and 8x tested), can't Alt-tab.
When AA is off can Alt-tab without any problem.

6: Did you have the booster packs installed before you installed 1.5?

No.

7: What resolution is your desktop running at, and what resolution is Battlefield 2 running at?

1280x960 both

8: What soundcard/codec do you have? What driver version is it using?

Realtek HD Audio ver 6.0.1.5864, ALC889A codec
