that it seemed to work is kind of amaizing since BF2 1.5 should not have this large address aware problem anymore (you did install bf2 1.41 and 1.5 patches, right?)
the reason you are getting kicked now is ofc that you modified your BF2.exe file
revert your BF2.exe and try running PR in administrator mode

that sounds alright if you mean part 1 and part 2 on .9 installer (fyi: the .9 installer should have removed the older versions)

instead of the depricated memory.dll fix you should really revert and try running as admin

Yep, changing the lightning settings made this MD5Tool mismatch disappear for me

Also got this answer from PB regarding a ticket I made to them regarding this:

Quote:
Note #2: This kick has been added by the serveradmin to check the integrity of certain files on the client. These checks are not default and have to be manually added by the server-admin.

When you are kicked for a MD5Tool Mismatch you will always see the file in question.

Example:
MD5Tool Mismatch: etpro/cgame_mp_x86.dll

Basically there are two different causes when you are kicked for a MD5 violation:

* The file DOES exist on your pc, while the server expected you would NOT have it

* The file does exist on your pc, while the server expected a different version (different MD5 hash).

When you are kicked for such a violation, check if you have this file or not. When it's not part of the default installation of the game, deleting this file might be needed. When you do have this file, make sure you have the original and latest official version of this file. Reinstalling of either the latest game patch(es) or the game might be needed.

I also am getting the MD5Tool Mismatch Shader kick. I usually get kicked around 30-45 minutes into a game.

I deleted and reinstalled everything and the problem persists. I attempted Kilroy's fix but I am not computer savy at all and had trouble figuring the steps out. If there is a way to go over those steps again in a simplier way (i.e. for the computer illiteriate) I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am running PR on Windows Vista. I believe Kilroy's fix was for XP. I'm not sure if that is where I am running into trouble but again any help would be appreciated.

It really blows getting kicked off of a game 30 minutes in and I've been playing PR since one of the earlier releases all the way up to .9 and this is the first time anything like this has happened.

Thanks in advance!

Ok I was kicked again today here is the Punkbuster message I was given:

MD5Tool Mismatch: Mod\pr\shaders_client_pr.zip (len=2048 )

Any ideas on how to correct this?

Keep in mind I've never had this happen with any other version of PR.

Windows Vista (32bit)
Intel Quad Core 2.4GB
5Gbs RAM
Nvidia 8800 GTX

Thanks!
