Win 7 can?t install on BF2 bc2 steam

i?ve searched throught google and here but can?t find the solution

ive downloaded the full lastest version of PR for bc2, 0.973
when i point the instalation to the BF2 steam folder (Steam/steamapps/common/battlefield bad company 2) it says its not the BF2 root directory.

I have uninstalled the game, downloaded it all over again, checked the files integrity but it still gives me this message.
What should I do?

Hi,

Project Reality is for Battlefield 2 and NOT Battlefield Bad Company 2. You are trying to install it over the wrong game.

That is correct. PR is a modification of BATTLEFIELD 2 not BAD COMPANY 2.

There is discount now at steam for BF2 so if you dont have it, get it for only 9,99 as complete collection.

Save 50% on Battlefield 2: Complete Collection on Steam

Once you get that make sure you read installation guide, and read trough stickies first.
