Win 7 Can't create account on BF2 nor PR 0.973

Hi all,

First i have to say i'm new to PR. I knew this mod since a long time but I have never tried it yet. Well, i just reinstalled BF2, patched 1.50, then I installed the last PR version (0.973).

So i tried to run PR, and create an account. I fill my nickname, mail, etc.. but it says that my "uniquenick" or my email are already is use..
Well i thought i had to create a BF2 account first, which i tried to do, but same result.
I tried everything, I even created 2 fake email and randomly wrote on my keyboard, everything is "already in use". Any help please ? Thanks a lot.

Welcome to PR and to the PR Forums,

A few things to say:
1. Always create a new BF2 account inside vanilla BF2, not inside PR.
2. When first installing BF2 and PR, Always create a ID in vanilla BF2, log in to vanilla BF2 and join a server, doing this allows BF2 to write your user file locations to windows registry.
3. It will be easier to create a new ID than recover an old ID !!
4. To recover an old ID, go here: https://login.gamespyid.com/login.as...index.aspx&sl=
and click on the "I forgot my password".

If you have another email address, it is always going to be easier to create a new ID inside vanilla BF2.

Corsair is probably already taken ID in BF2.

Okay, it worked.
I had to create a third mail ! And it worked.. i can finally have fun on PR !
