Win 7 Mumble Keybinds?

First off, I apologize if this is a stupid question

So finally realizing that many servers require mumble, I put aside my reservations and downloaded it. It is downloaded and installed, and run as an administrator every time. I like to use push to talk, but when i go in to mumble in Configure/Settings/Shortcuts, I found local speech and set it, but when I went to set squad talk, I couldn't find anything. The closest thing that even looked like it might be squad talk was PR Comms, which I set to my V key, which is also my default VOIP push to talk key. But when I press the key for "PR Comms" people cant hear me. I feel like this is a really stupid question, but for the life of me I have no idea whats wrong.

It's a legit question.

Simple solution:

Default Local talk is "H" key.
Function = Local Speech
Shortcut = H
Rebind this as needed.

Default Squad Chat is "Keyboard: Num 0"
Function = PR Comms
Data = Current
Shortcut = Keyboard: Num 0
Rebind this as needed.

Thanks for your prompt response. Local Chat is fine. However I have a laptop and I dont have a num pad. Also, the data is always listed as empty. Clicking on the "..." next to the box that says empty doesn't do anything

OK, not an impossible hurdle.
To be honest, we haven't found a proper solution to this yet.

Here is what I have sitting in the PRMumble FAQ:

Lets for some reason want to use the keys A and B (just for illustration).
A can be local talk
B can be squad
A+B can be SL-channel
B+A can be Commander

Result: You can use the v + b keys for 4 mumble functions, if you move the vanilla keys somewhere else.

People have been setting it up as

Local Talk = H shortcut
Squad Talk = V Shortcut

Talk to SL 1 : (V or H) + keyboard 1
Talk to SL 2 : (V or H) + keyboard 2
etc to
Talk to SL 9 : (V or H) + keyboard 9
and
Talk to CO : (V or H) + keyboard 0 .
or something along those lines.

Yes, Ive tried this, but binding PR Comms to anything produces no result. (Ive had it bound to V and B at times)

So this is what it looks like

This way I press H and local works fine, but pressing V does nothing. (except initiate voip)

At this point you'll need to uninstall PRMumble, then follow the steps below, then reboot, then reinstall PRMumble.

However, I cant edit any of those options that appear there, except the local one that appears at the top. What do I do now?

Medehawk, that isn't the correct screen, that is a information screen in the wizard , a text file to explain the default key settings .

Finish running the wizard.

Then go to configure->settings->shortcuts

That is the screen to change the key binds.

DO NOT try to create new shortcuts, you can only change the binded key for existing shortcuts.

Alright, After uninstalling I go to %appdata% from the run menu, but there is nothing relating to mumble there. should I go ahead with the reinstall?

Are you sure? C:\Users\*YOU*\AppData\Roaming\Mumble
