Hey guys.
Just started my PR experience tonight. Trying to connect to the mumble server (mumble.projectreality.com:6473 Plus, whenever I have mumble running (but unable to connect), the game sound outputs through my PC speakers, rather than through my headphones. Can anyone help? |

Are you using PR:Mumble 1.0.0?

I dont know where you got that address, you might be using old version.
mumble://mumble.realitymod.com:64739 < use that and see what it tells you. If you have PR Mumble 0.5 then remove it and get this > http://realitymodfiles.com/dbzao/PR_...0.0_Beta_4.msi Read this to get you started with it > http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f196...ta-v1-0-a.html http://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-...ps-tricks.html |

Thanks for the quick replies, gents.
Upgrading to v 1.0.0 solved the connectivity issue. I can connect to the server now, but I still have sound going through the PC speakers instead of through the headset. The sound for the intro screen (SRS) goes through the headset, but as soon as I get to the game proper, it reverts to the PC speakers. Any help? Really wanna get into this PR thing. |

Again, thanks for your quick reply, Massive.
Checked that thread, and posted in it, though you got back to this one first. Did everything that that post suggested. No change. In the Sound system tray, my headphones are designated as the "default communications device." And the speakers as the Default device. Disabling speakers just prevents any in-game sound from coming through at all. Any other thoughts? |

Hmm, no sorry. This problem has been around for some while, and I still dont have solution for it.
Try reverse setting? Set speakers as default communication device and see what its doing. Restart mumble to apply setting, and try running audio wizard again from mumble client. Other than that I dont know what else to do. Just for the record, are you using USB headphones, and do you have any sort of software that comes with it? Updated? |

I'm using Turtle Beach X12. Powered by USB, but connected through mic and headphone jacks. Got a new problem now: "Your connection to the server has been lost." Gonna scope around the forums and see if I can find a solution. Thanks again. | |
