Al Basrah 32

I searched and could not find anything on this, so forgive me if there is already a thread.

Anyways, I LAN once or twice a week with friends, and we mainly play AIX but I'm going to introduce them to PR. When my one friend and I play, most of the time we're on Al Basrah, and we like the 32 player size because it's not too small, and it also doesn't provide the British with a HUGE advantage (they still have APCs, but no tanks/air). The problem is, Al Basrah 32 apparently doesn't have a main base point, so you cannot request certain limited kits unless you construct a firebase/bunker.

I don't know if this is a bug, or if it was purposely set up this way. If it isn't a bug, then feel free to call me stupid for posting this here. And I know this isn't exactly the right place for it, but could someone explain or point me in the direction of how to add a main base point to the map?

You could make a deal with your friends as a temporarily solution.
You play the 64 player map and agree not to use tank or heli

But I haven't got a clue if it is on purpose or not...

First off it is a known bug and to get a main base point you will need to edit the map in the bf2 editor. Or wait til .8 for it to be fixed.

well if you want, you could install the traning mod and it would allow the brits to request any kits they wanted, but one side effect is you can get a kit no matter where you are and the limit per kit is 31 so i dont think it would be 2 fair.
