PR server error while loging in
The message: There was an error reading from the server.
I get the above message when I try to login to PR. After entering profile and PW, the Welcome to Pr screen comes up for a few moments. Then a screen pops up with the above message... I was running the game fine earlier today. I did have it clock for an abnormaly long time at the welcome screen at one point but it went through ok. I have the most recent updates and only have another issue I've been trying to resolve with VOIP. It will work during one round, but when maps change or I switch servers it stops working. I adjusted my dxdiag audio acceleration to make it work this far, still trying to fix that. There shouldn't be a correlation with these problems. Any thoughts? |

It also happened to me 3 times, in these last days:
- while logging in: it gives me that error, or the screen remains in "Welcome to PR" i can move the cursor but cant do anything, i can't even alt+tab to desktop and kill the bf2 process... - during a normal game: after some (voip)lag i just get LOGGED OFF pr, with "error reading from server" The next time i try to login it works perfectly, but its still annoying |

I'd rather say some EA guys spelt some beer on the wire.
And yes, same with me. Only 6 players on Tactical Gamer and a little bit more than one hundred at all playing PR.It's obvious something's wrong here. And the overall number playing vBF2 is also significantly lower than usually at this time |
