Unhappy BF2/PR Graphics Glitches

Here i have uploaded 3 screenshots:

http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/2...reen033qy0.jpg

http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/7...reen034od9.jpg

System:
WinXP Sp2 / ASUS P5W / e6600 DC 2.4 @ 2.88 / 2048 RAM / EVAG 8800 GTS (pre-superclocked) / 2x Raptors in raid0 / x-fi fatality pro (onboard 64MB RAM haha)

Well, i know it may not be PR because in BF2 i get weird texture glitches like on the pin of the grenade in vanilla. I run everything on max with 8x AA using nvidia latest drivers @ "let the 3d application decide" setting.

I don't have huge glitches but only things like shown in the screenshots, they are meant to be see-through (i think) however on my screen after zooming in it shows cardboard blocked windows (zoomed out i saw a Militia inside running around). Also i get the vanilla gun glitches on PR too, gets worse if i minimise and maximise, the gun flickers, or wrench, or knife... whatever i'm holding...

Yet every other texture is fine, trees, vehicles, players, etc.

I'm almost positive its my graphics card... if anyone else has this problem let me know!

Thx

Its because of the maps. how bigger the map how more glitchy texture you get. that why it isnt that much on vbf2.

I don't see anything wrong with any of the screenshots...
It's because the maps in PR are alot bigger than what the BF2 engine is ment to cope with, thus weird flickering textures etc. Mostly noticable on kashan. I'm also aware it's there on Fools road but it just doesnt bother me as much as kashan does).

it's just the way the engine works, those objects weren't supposed to be seen far away, so when you zoom in the become visible.

On screen shot 1, You should see Sniper rifle with broken bolt. I guess most people didn't noticed that.

EDIT: I strongly recommend to author who created that sniper rifle should start over, it looks not very good on first person view, too many vertexes, low quality textures, scope is not very detailed, if I aim scope, I can see corner of scope and some image compression discolors.

It's supposed to be fixed or very remedied in the next patch. A guy called Mosquito found a way to adjust what causes the problem. Only the developers could fix it, I believe it was a command which went like this - renderer.tweakfarplane, but you can't and shouldn't change anything in the console because of punkbuster, so the developers should be aware of it.
