i figured this, because i some times hear squadm8s breathing or mumbling or chewing, when the round is over and the scoreboard shows, before the loading progress bar appears (only like 5-10 sec)

i assume, that since they were talking when the round finishes, the release (button-up) event does not trigger, so the game is not told to stop recording and transmitting

kind of anoying because i tend to forget to switch my microphone back on, when i work around this bug by using the headset's cable mute switch

btw: forum seems awfully slow, even get the HTTP Error 503 some times

It's BF2 itself, methinks. When I used to play with mic-users, I would hear the last sound they transmitted continue over and over again until the map loaded.

Say, one of my squadmates was chewing potato chips. You'd hear the constant crunching repeated like a broken record until the next map loaded. Irritating at times. Solution: mute.

I enjoy this thoroughly. I always make all sorts of weird sounds - "HABAHABAHABAHABAHABAHABA," that sort of thing - when the round ends for everyone's enjoyment.

KP still is the number one hottie, noobs.

I'd do KP. Wouldn't everyone?
