why it has a five second delay, to get away from the blast area and wait for your team mates to get out of the way. I'm sure this delay has saved a lot of guys from team killing their mates.

does the detonator have a maximum distance or is it still uber leet like in bf2v. where you can detonate it when its anywhere on the map.

Honestly I would like it to have the option if you click it too early it doesn't blow but you are still able to click it after 5 seconds and have it work properly. Instead of being a dud period.

Unless the devs intend for some percentage of C4 to fail, this IS a bug. I know about the 5 second arming time, and I haven't done anything but drop the C4 on the ground and this happens.

This really sucks when you've just run up behind a tank, btw.

I’ve encountered the same problem on a number of occasion, I’ve done what it says on the tin and still have dramas with the detonator disappearing?

Must be a glitch in the programme?
