i dont think it should be corrupt other wise it would stop the download for me and tell me but also where can i find the 4.1 version

Well.. Best bet is just reinstall.. Are you talking about vBF2 version 1.41?

You need to have vBF2 installed, and it updated to 1.41, just an fyi even though you probably know that. Just making sure.

Best bet is probably double check everything (wait for dev's or mod's or pub's to respond to this) then reinstall..

Hello,

When I tried this mod a couple of days ago I experienced exactly the same issue. The game switches resolution and pops into full screen mode for half a second, then bombs out with no error message. Battlefield 2 runs fine independently.

I haven't looked into what version of Battlefield i'm running; will have a play when I get a chance.

I have this EXACT SAME PROBLEM! I have tried everything but no fix. Before it stopped working Bf2 worked fine. Then I installed PR (this was all a while ago), that worked fine. Then maybe 3 months after I installed PR I got this same CTD with both PR and Bf2 (click on icon, large black screen, back to desktop). So reinstall PR and Bf2, works fine, until it happened again! Now I have uninstalled all instances of PR and BF2 and when I attempt to reinstall Bf2 vanilla, with no patches I get the same CTD! I have tried this mutiple times with different patches and still nothing! I have even tried installing to a backup drive that was freshly formatted! I can't even get a fresh install of Bf2 to work! And my computer meets (and exceeds, by allot) the minimum requirements. Any ideas, this sounds like the same CTD?
