[0909] Stigger's Brit Truck

There are two bugs with the new british logistics truck.

The first is when you try and enter, occassionally on Al Basrah, if you attempt to enter the truck you will CTD without warning.

The second issue is when you try and look out of the back of the truck, the camera has a fit and gets all sorts of wierd camera angles, some around the truck and some of plain sky or a random piece of map (again, Al Basrah)

Both have been generated on the *NwA* server.

the CTD might be down to with you loading the new interior texture into your memory you exceed your max memory and as such, CTD.

Only a guess thou but iirc, it has a large interior texture.

I have had no issues with the truck myself, but have heard other players finding it very hard to drive, the fps rate drops when in the drivers seat but if they switch to the passenger seat it goes back up.

Suspect it could be a memory issue as you said Rhino.......

I had already driven the truck while testing the hotfix patch btw..........

4 gb's of ram on an XP OS, virtual memory upped to 8 gb's on a dual core with a 4890 gpu.

What about the wierd camera angles then?
I can get images of small coasts over 1KM away.

i have experienced the same things as mentioned above.

CTD when entering, major FPS drop whilst driving maiking it unusable for me, and the strange glitchy camera when looking backwards.

The only issue I've had with it is its reaction to hitting objects. If you hit a tree by a little bit the reaction is violent, often to the point of pushing the truck over on its side. It just seems a little ...floppy... in cases like these.

Same for me just drove it, Not had any issues with crashing or lag in the game only in driver seat of this truck.

UPDATE: This only happens when in the drivers seat of the 2 seater truck the personnel carrier version is fine when driving...very strange.
