Odd shafts of light

I occasionally run into these:

They occur seemingly at random, don't do anything except exist, and only occasionally do other people see them.
It occurs mostly on jungle/forest maps, on every side I play on.

no but i have never seen it before sounds like you may want to turn down your gfx lighting settings.

I hope this is not your problem, but that happened to me about a year ago right before my video card took a dump.
