why not make it so it takes at least 3 civilians at the same time and their squad leader close by for them to repair bridges? Just an idea.

Make the bridges indestructible, there are plenty of cars around the city and blowing the pallace bridges is just redundant, it fails to stop most vehicles.

XKCD forums, in the middle of a perfectly sane conversation:
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like? Best post ever made! EG: PPSh is made of win and quite possibly stamped sheet metal |

Thanks for your responses... I still stand by the fact that if you want to consider realism, that no one British engineer with a WRENCH, cranking at a blown up bridge is not gonna be able to repair it for the duration of the round. If it is realism that some of your posts criticized against mine, why not just go ahead and require 20 engineers working on it with about 20 other people to get it done in about 10-15 minutes. That's realism. The deployable bridges being used by the modern military to cross rivers in critical missions that require them to use unconventional entry points to gain the upper hand on the enemy (flanking). Anyways, you hardcore guys cry for realism when the fact of the matter is that in a hypocritical way, what you all are suggesting is not real in the first place. One guy could most likely never repair a bridge by himself (at least the bridges of the scale on that map). The palace needs to be better fortified as well and some weapons caches put inside throughout the building to discourage British people from destroying the bridge in the first place. Before i get too far off topic though with new ideas and the such, I still stand by the idea that odds are already against the insurgents. I seriously doubt that all insurgents have a suicide bomb truck stop type setup where they all just chill showing off who has more kilos of Semtex in their trunks. The suicide bombs need to be distributed throughout the city or the bridges need to be repairable, period. (this is IMHO - No ultimatums from me, who am I anyways?) Another suggestion to fix this issue is to have all vehicles regular, but have bomb specialists that have a kit that they can attach to a vehicle to make it car bomb active (maybe a flag that goes off on the car to activate the second utilization). Just a couple of ideas but please don't argue realism with me, I can go on all day about how UNREAL the British armed forces are.

The problem is this:
Brits have wrenches Brits have atleast 3 ways out from their main base, even if all the bridges are destroyed. As a Brit, you just need to spawn as a engineer and spend ~3 minutes repairing the bridge. ---- Insurgents arent able to fix bridges There is no way out from the main base, if the bridges are destroyed. As a insurgent, you need to find, kill and steal a Brit engineer kit to get a correct wrench. Then you need to escape where ever you were and head for the bridges. After that spend that 3 minutes for every break point made for the bridge. I've done it successfully two times as a insurgent, the only reason I was up to this was because I was bored and wanted to suicide on people with cars. No, I didnt do it for the team... |

But isn´t the whole point that the insurgents stay and defend the caches in their city?
Of course, I am guilty of taking a suicide car and running out, or ambushing near the main exit with an RPG. But if I can´t, well set up an ambush in the city? The insurgents fight best inside the city, its a different playing style... |

2. Bomb cars are very useful to knock out pesky armor that's moving in and around the city, you can't always rely on RPG's and IED's. 3. Dirt Bikes are the fastest way to get around a map. All vital for your team to have to defend caches. And we all know what that bomb truck can do if used right | |
