Before you start reporting bugs, please stop for a moment and think if it really is a bug. The most common form of "bugs" are actually end user problems, not issues to do with the game itself.

So to help you out on this, before you start posting stuff, please check out this FAQ first, since it might be already covered in here.

If it's not, and your positive it's a bug, go ahead, start posting.

If you have seen a bug or glitch that you think we should know about please post it here.

We will endeavour to resolve your bug locally, and failing that will be posted to the Project Reality Testers to try and replicate and confirm as a future bug fix.

Sometimes you find a bug that can be exploited or should not be seen by the majority of the public for various reasons.

In such cases, please do not make a thread in these forums, instead PM one of the following testing lead staff members:



Please use this template for posting bug fixes.

give a detailed description of exactly what the problem is.

Steps to Reproduce:
post clear and concise steps to reproduce the problem.

Screenshots / Video:
post any relevant screenshots, use imageshack / youtube or some other free hosting service.

Tested On:
Kashan Desert AAS-64, PR v0.856

-map name
-game mode / layer
-server name (if not dedicated list as local)
-version number

Video Settings (if needed):
If the bug has something visually wrong, especially related to lighting or effects, you should post up your Video settings and your GFx card make+model.

Audio Settings (if needed):
If the bug has something to do with sound, you should post up your Audio settings and your sound card make+model.

Both map and mini map show corruption on lower half (certainly on 16 & 32 player)
Steps to Reproduce:
1) open up the map you should be able to see the bug immediately.

Tested On:
Kashan Desert 16&32, Local, PR 0973
Video Settings (if needed):
My GFx card is a ATI Sapphire, 9800pro 128mb and my BF2 video settings are all on medium.
Audio Settings (if needed):
My sound card is a Creative X-Fi Titanium and my BF2 audio settings are Hardware/High with EAX enabled.
