Default Motorcycle exploding upon impact of a sidewalk

Title says all. I'm in Windows 7 64 bit, playing Hardcore server with only 5 players as an insurgent, grab a motorcycle out of base and take a left turn because the road is mined. Go into a sidewalk making a turn toward south, and instantly die hitting the sidewalk.

Must just be a funny random thing right? Nope. Respawn after 2 minutes (who made that decision) to grab another cycle, and because it's only road, go there again. The exact same thing happens, only this time I have half a second to jump out when i hear the flames.

Is this just the loveliness of the BF2 engine, or is it something with how PR is?

A pilot, a parachutist, and a tanker. And maybe a bit of a human shield.

The bike in PR.

The most vulnerable and fragile vehicle next to aircraft.

To drive like super pro. Use the mouse to lean with your turns.

If you just use the WASD keys you will get no leaning motion.

The mouse shifts your weight around to make turning easier.

This should help
