Colt C7 NLD 4x magnified red dot.
The red dot on the Colt C7 NLD with magnified optic is showing a massive big red dot atm. Which shouldnt happen and makes it for less accurate gun shots.

The dutch army trains its personal to use the red dot as small as possible to be the most accurate. A red dot the size and as sharp of the aimpoint in the 4x magnifier would be realistic and more convenient for the shooter.

Thanks for giving feedback, the military knowledge is much apreciated.

I allready figured we should reduce the size and that it would make sense because of what you have explained. We had a discussion about this within the team and we actually came to the conclusion that we should reduce the size of the magnified dot. This will be fixed in the next patch! :smile:

As well, would it be possible to allow a backup sights view with no zoom? I know it sucks that the magnifier is stuck on the gun and can't be moved out of the way, so realistically it will look fucked, but I'm assuming IRL you can just move it off to the side when you don't want/need zoom. It would be a great feature both for the dutch and IDF, with some aesthetic realism problems that I could live with.

Already tested the smaller dots on IDF and NL rifles yesterday, so yeah, next patch.

As for BIS on those guns, I have no clue, maybe doable with fancy animations, but we don't have an official animator, and it would probably require remodeling the guns to allow moving parts.
Not even sure those sight allows that first.

I personally have no idea what needs to be done, but if it can be made possible with just like..

1. tap cycle camera key
2. magnifier teleports to the right no animation needed
im pretty sure that would be fine for a placeholder(from the perspective of a random pr player)

Or the veiw could stay the same just with no magnification. Good enough placeholder. :D

We need an animator to do this, and we dont have one at the moment to make cool new animations. So it is not going to happen.

Same view, so through scope, but no zoom.. Although that would probably work, won't that be really confusing? Especially since the anims stay the same. I dunno, might feel all weird..
