Default M1126 Stryker Comment

I just wanted to point out an observation about the M1126 'Stryker' ICV's in the game. If this has been discussed already, please forgive me. My concern is regarding the coloration of the in-game M1126; they are depicted with the overall desert tan of other US vehicles in the game, even though there are no variants of the Stryker in US service with this color. The ones currently in service are painted an overall NATO medium green. I have noticed that the Strykers do not have the anti-RPG 'slat' armor that is standard-issue for all Strykers in operation in Iraq and Afghanistan. I just wanted to point this out and do not mean to cause any problems.

Oh snap!

I dunno about the cage though, but IIRC it has been known to be buggy on other vehicles.

Hi buddy, strykers IRL are now receiving tan instead of CARC green in several theatres afaik, I think the texture change in PR is pre-emptive since the tan texture was made, then a Stryker crewman corrected the oversight, then CARC green was used ingame until now since the DoD is changing it.

ZABUL PROVINCE, Afghanistan — More than six years after sending the first Stryker armored vehicles into desert combat, the Army has decided that it’s probably a good idea to start painting them tan so they will blend in with the environments in Afghanistan and Iraq.
the RPG cages have been buggy, which is why they haven't been implemented yet.

Feedback is always appreciated mate

I heard the US Army didn't have budget enough to paint them until now.

The slat armor on the Stryker model caused collision mesh bugs that we have been unable to work out.

I Personally do not fear strikers as to a LAV. Just an Armored vehicle that gets toasted by an RPG.
