Gaza is the new korengal as it is incredibly lopsided towards hamas. IDF gets 1 sh*tty humvee, multiple sh*tty APCs, a huge open desert to get mowed down on as we run to the city, nowhere to make an fob, tanks spawn in 15 minutes which is retarded then when they are spawned there are too many bombcars to make them very useful. the map is not much fun at all as idf, its an exercise in futility.

There's no need to be rude when giving feedback.
I enjoy this map as IDF, but then again i always enjoyed Korengal as US too. The challenge is good. It is certainly not an "exercise in futility". (but i've never played to win.. maybe that's why I enjoy it.) |

If really feels like that they made that map and thought that there still would be RPs around. Although it's a really cool and beautiful map it doesn't play well I would say. Yesterday I got 54:4 K/D shooting IDF when they tried to cross the desert. You can shot guys who try to jump into the tanks. The m113 is really worthless but the MBT is really good. Hamas really got the upper hand.

If the Merkavas work together with APCs, they can get troops into the city easily. Instead people start running across the desert, becoming easy targets for SVDs and Lee-einfields.

Yes I like that too. The opposite would be Team Fortress on a mirrored symmetrical map. (2fort etc) But it doesn't require the map to be unbalanced. Ideally the better team should win not the one that happen to have the advantage (like the chinese had tanks on former Qwai and USA didn't. Just unfair).

I'd say its a bit of a bigger Karbala,
Mixed combat environments in such a relatively small area of the map. You can be from city to desert in a matter of seconds. Caches are also hard to find because of the amount of space you have to sift through to get to it. |

U can use tanks to transport ppl across the desert, hope IDF will get Namer APC's in the next patch (has more or atleast same armor as the merkava tank) as those M113's are worthless. I played gaza only in the 1st week of release, and IDF always won with tons of tickets w/o loosing tanks.
BTW, new korengal is so UBER COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 11111111 (used to be my least fav map..) |
