No, I disagree. Base attacks are a major issue in the real life conflict, with frequent attacks on coalition bases and soldiers consistently coming under fire very very quickly on leaving their base on patrol. I refer you to the video below that demonstrates this point. It would be churlish to ignore this fact for the sake of a supposed "safezone" for the coalition force in-game. With that in mind the Taliban have plenty business base raping on this map.

In my opinion the DOD should cover a 100m radius from the British main, it is not realistic for Taliban forces to get into the base itself but it is highly realistic for them to be able to get close and just as realistic for them to be able to fire in. Until this is corrected Tommy's point of playing on a well adminned server that does not allow the Taliban into the main is entirely valid.

I would also like to add my congratulations Hans. I simply cannot fault the map in the slightest, wonderful effort.

I would say that irl USA doesn't build there bases at the feet of mountains or that small cars packed with explosives can force the gates or that big trucks can blow the hole base up. BLUFOR shouldn't be forced to waste players defending the base and furthermore it's unfair as the insurgents can't really enter the base anyway.
I've played far too many games recently where I feel like half the team is doing nothing and only like 14 players actually assaults.

Irl BLUFOR don't attack a foe they don't outnumber and they never fight with a 2:1 K/D ratio so don't bring in "real life" in this game mode.

Personally, I think the DoD should only extend 75-100m from the walls. It would solve having the entire taliban team infesting the place, yet still allow base attack.

And believe it or not, bases are attacked directly IRL. Including the ones built at the base of mountains. Even Bagram AFB, despite its size, is routinely attacked(by rockets and car bombs anyway). And given the small size of the base on this map, a truck bomb really could blow the whole thing up.
